Who am I and what am I doing here? If you don’t know the answers to those questions, It’s a good chance that few of my ramblings here will mean anything to you. However, since it’s common practice to have an “about” page on one’s blog, here it is.
I am tempted to say I’m a typical guy, but then I think that would be lying. So who am I? In order of importance in my life I would say first and foremost I’m a Christian. Now some days I’m a “good Christian”, though most days I fail at the attempt. But I believe that Jesus died for my sins and every day he grows me a little bit more.
I’ve been a husband for 20 years and a father for 15. I’m a bit of a loner and keep very few close friends. I believe that Rock was God’s original intention when he created music. I think books are better than movies. My motorcycle is the first machine I’ve actually fallen in love with. Tattoos are cool. I play the drums. Beer + Cigar = Awesome.
Feel free to drop me comments, and don’t forget to enjoy the ride.

I noticed you read “the Heart of an Artist”. What did (or do you) think of it? It was such an awesome read, especially when trying to balance artistic expression and a relationship with God.
I like the fact that it had a whole chapter on “perfectionism” too since I tend to struggle with that and it really can get in the way of creativity…
Actually I’m in the process of reading “Heart of the Artist” right now with our bible study group. So far though, it’s really making me think about how and why we do what we do. Thanks for the comment!
Hey, was your band the same that did that song “Fear of Flying?”
“Imagine you’re a bird–A thing with wings that sings the praises of his love. / Imagine you’re a-flying–you say you can’t ’cause you’re scared, I know what’s on that mind.”
The clips sound great, either way. Keep it up!
Nope, not us…. unless Paul has written something else… but thanks for the compliment, and the comment!
