Years ago I started journaling. and by journaling, I’m not talking writing on this blog or in other electronic journals. I’m talking about writing on paper, with a pen. There’s something special about writing your thoughts in actual paper and knowing that some day when you cease to exist and your computer files are erased, that these writings will still exist and whoever finds them will be able to know something about you and your adventures.
So for the new year I bought some new Field Notes notebooks and pens. Love these. They are small, the paper feels fantastic and they have this cool retro feel.
Also bought a new Standard Memorandum daily record book from wordnotebooks.com. These provide just a few lines for each day so you really need to decide what’s important to write. It’s also very small and compact.
So pick up a few of these and start writing!
